Fowler Studios is a startup company based in San Diego, CA. We build cutting edge tools for publishing dynamic content to the web. By leveraging the newest technologies and techniques and packaging them in thoughtfully designed interfaces, our clients are able to achieve flexibility and maintainability of their content.
Our first product: Seedling
Seedling is our first offering in the competitive web-publishing space. The goal with Seedling is to provide a single platform where developers, designers, and content creators are able to collaborate and coordinate efforts. Our solution provides developers with an extensible framework to add functionality on the fly, while the designer and content creator are tweaking designs and adding content.
Traditionally, a web developer will find an off-the-shelf solution or build a custom one and work with the designer to integrate the desired design of the site into the context of the solution. The downside to this workflow is all about time: the developer usually has to wait for the designs to be completed or vice-versa. Beyond the workflow between developer and designer, the content creators who will provide content must wait until the entire development process is completed.
